Why do we fight? Why do we break down the truth within ourselves?
Why are the only options to reject or weakly accept what's inside?
The battles within are real, but they do not define.
A bad moment is not a bad life, a bad life, is not a bad ending.
Whether we like it or not, we can control who we become.
And it's not anyone else's choice or influence.
Can I be honest? And point out that the world has found it easier to say that it's just simply how it is, and it can't be controlled, than to actually say something can be done? Because isn't that easier to accept, rather than accept the truth that we can change everything about ourselves if we truly have the desire and effort? I mean is that an easy concept to apply? I sure hope not! It's the hardest, but most rewarding thing.
It's easy to care what others think, its natural and it's not bad of us.
But if anyone thinks they can become 6 billion different persons to make each earthling happy,
good luck my friend! There, you will not find happiness.
Why be like a millions sames, when you can be one incredible you?
But that's not fair, because you're "broken," "uncontrollably depressed," "A failure," "A poor example of a human being?" Sound about right? That's crap. Who told you that? Society may be popular, but it's rarely, actually true, or at least conscious of you. Bold statement right?
Be that best ONE you can possible be. And that is one hundred percent up to you. Nobody else truly has that power.
The brutal truth is, consciously or sub, the people around you only have as much control over you as YOU allow them to have. As long as we're focused on making everyone happy instead of being true to who WE are, we'll live miserably. If anyone has actually found happiness in being a people pleaser, I'd like to meet them. Because, the truth is, I could be completely wrong about all of this. And I'm willing to accept that. IF I'm given a valid reason.
Isn't it funny that simply because an idea, or opinion is posted, it becomes truth?
Social media has become the news, it has become our bible.
